Tarbert Scottish Series 1998

Prize Winners

Prizes will be presented in each class to the first three in each race and the first three overall, subject to there being sufficient starters.


The SCOTTISH SERIES TROPHY will be awarded to the yacht which, in the opinion of the Race Committee and the representatives of the sponsors, has given the best performance of all competitors in the Series. kooshtie

The CRAWFORD McINNES TROPHY will be presented to the youth (under 25) helmsman or crew which, in the opinion of the Race Committee and the representatives of the sponsors, has given the best performance of all eligible competitors in the Series. Competitors may indicate their eligibility for the Youth Trophy when completing their crew list at the Race Office at Tarbert. Inismara

First by Farr

The TARBERT SHIELD will be presented to the first yacht to finish the Offshore Races at Tarbert irrespective of class, course or starting point.


The SAIL SCOTLAND TROPHY will be awarded to the yacht normally based outwith Scotland which in the opinion of the Race Committee gives the best performance of all yachts in the Series (other than the winner of the Scottish Series Trophy, if appropriate).
