Every year we get enquiries from all over from owners looking for crew for a cruise or to help as part of their campaign in our Championship series. There is also a huge pool of talent of Dinghy Section members who are available and willing to crew on keelboats to increase their experience. Would love to be involved in Scottish Series again and West Highland Week. Have around 6,000 miles logged and have Competent Crew, Day Skipper (theory), STCW95, Sea Survival, Dinghy Level 2, Power Boat Level 1 + 2 and I am a volunteer on the Clyde Challenger. I am keen sailor from Sligo, Ireland with 19 years dingy and cruiser sailing experience under my belt and I will be based in Glasgow for the 2011 season. I was an Irish Sailing Association qualified instructor and have been involved with and run courses for beginners through to advanced sailors for over 5 seasons in numerous clubs in Ireland. The majority of my sailing experience has been in Mirrors and 420’s and in the last number of years I have been an active member of a crew on a 747 one design, sailing in numerous competitions around Ireland.
